Martin Gateway Center Holds Senior Citizens Red Carpet Gala
The Martin Gateway Senior Citizens Center held their 2nd annual “Gateway Gala” event Friday, June 14 at the Martin Public Library. The event was hosted by Ali Stalter and Becky Hames.
Participants walked down a red carpet and had their picture taken before enjoying the company of friends and fellowship.
A DJ was provided and participants had a great time shaking a leg on the dance floor before dining.
The gala featured local businesses from all over Weakley County to decorate tables for the event and each table was voted on by participants. The winner was Gleason Flower Market and Gifts, and they were awarded a trophy for best decorated table.
Business sponsors for the event included Gleason Market Flower and Gifts, Hamlin Real Estate, Claire Schuster Interior, FCB Bank of the Heartland, Simply Southern and Say Cheese and RaeKar.
“We hope to continue this for years to come,” Director Ali Stalter said.
