Herb Holistics is the Go-To for all Things Herbal

Herb Holistics is a local herbal office located in Martin. Davell Lloyd, a Chicago native, started the business in 2023 after being involved in naturopathic health for about twenty or so years now.

Davell says that he had a poor diet for years and had consumed quite a bit of fiber to help change his diet. Shortly after consuming the fiber, he was rushed to the hospital for pain in his side, and the doctors wanted to take out his appendix. As Mr. Lloyd was in the hospital, he contacted a local herbal store and asked for advice, to which they suggested he drink water and magnesium. Shortly after doing this, he was no longer in pain and the doctors were surprised because even the dark mass shown previously on his xray was gone. It was  then that he decided that he wanted to go down the path of natural health.

Herbalist Lloyd graduated from the American School of Natural Health in 2019. He simply wanted to help, just like that local health store had helped him.

“I thought, ‘I wonder how I could start my own health business,” Mr. Lloyd said.

Years later, Mr. Lloyd, along with the help of his staff, came up with Herb Holistics. Herbalist Lloyd says that he opened this business because there is a need for holistic remedies and that he truly just wanted to help people. The office recently opened, and there are many wonderful things that people can expect from Herb Holistics.

“If I’m gonna do this, I’m gonna do it right,” Herbalist Lloyd said.

Herb Holistics does offer consultations if a client is looking to go down the natural health path, but they also offer many different natural products such as their weight management supplements, inflammation support supplements, supplemental mineral water, natural skin and hair care products, and an amazing product called “Ageless” that are all curated in house. You can catch them at local events such as the Farmer’s Market and also online where they offer a plethora of natural products that can be shipped or picked up locally. 

Mr. Lloyd is experienced in the work he does and enjoys educating others on natural health. He has done several speaking engagements and is available as well to speak at churches in the community. 

Herbalist Lloyd is also a published author and has a book out on Amazon titled “The Herbal Journey” which gives the reader an educated  glimpse into the world of remedial herbs. 

Mr. Lloyd is humbled by the response to the business so far and looks forward to being able to help his local community and many others and come to a place of truth in their lives so they can live better lives. 

“If I have to be dishonest, then I don’t want to do it,” he said.
