My name is Danny Powers and I am running for Weakley County Mayor.

I have lived in Weakley County all my life. My career began with my family business, Bernie Powers Sr. and Jr. with Powers and Sons Farms.

Later, I owned and operated a heavy construction company, working with Baptist Hospital in Union City, Phoenix Fabrication (water towers), and Advance Parts Stores in Martin and Humbolt.

After retirement I began volunteering for Meals on Wheels at the Gateway Senior Citizens Center in martin.

Under my leadership and experience, in partnership with the commissioners and staff, I finally believe that we can move this county in a powerful way in the right direction.

I am the only candidate with the knowledge and experience to get this fixed correctly and efficiently.
