The dup paired up and made improvements to city park benches, the dugout as well as cleaning up Veteran’s Park property by picking up limbs and trash, and cleaning the design painted on the basketball court.

“We want to give a huge thanks to the help of all the volunteers and Mr. Rick Williams and Mr. Kevin Varvaro with Woodmen life for their generosity and all their help,” City Officials expressed.

Volunteer and helpers included Greenfield City Clerk Haley Featherston, Mayor Cindy McAdams, Ava Spikes, City Recorder Jerica Spikes, Rick Williams, Greenfield Alderman Jaye Massey, Kevin Varvaro, Fire Chief Bob Dudley and many more.

Greenfield City Park is located on Akin Street in Greenfield and is host to a basketball court, provides youth league baseball, football and basketball, a playground area, benches and picnic tables and more for family friendly fun in the Greenfield area.

City officials and the community work hard to keep the park clean and inviting for the community to spend time at and they hope that by keeping the park beautiful it will encourage others to do the same.
