Martin-Westview may be building confidence and momentum as the Chargers have won their fourth straight football game.

The Chargers captured a 21-14 road victory over the Ripley Tigers to go 4-2 on the season.

Charger coach Jarrod Neal said there was a significant difference between the first and second half.

"It was a tale of two halves. The first half was kind of sloppy," he said. "In the second half, we settled in and put points on the board."

The Chargers eventually put together a good offensive and defensive presentation. Defensively, Sam Shelley had 13 tackles and Finn Snider had 11 total stops.

Neal praised his team's effort.

"We fought and played hard the whole time," he said. "We could have folded, but we kept fighting."

The coach hopes the streak continues.

"We're getting a little bit of momentum (after winning four straight)," he said. "We'll find out this week."
