Recovery and Investigation of Martin Plane Crash Continues

Posted

The City of Martin Fire/Rescue has been back on the scene this morning with the FAA and NTSB. There is currently a recovery company removing the plane from the wooded area.

They will take the plane to an undisclosed hanger and finish their investigation there. Once the plane has been removed from the property the
land will be turned back over to the owner and we will clear the scene.

We can confirm that Scott Rainey of Rainey Aerial Ag Service perished in the crash. Our condolences go out to the family during this challenging time. We would like to thank all the agencies who have aided us with this incident over the past three days.
