On June 15, 2024, the Greenfield High School Class of 1959 met for their 65th class reunion at Tony and Lorie Stout’s barn near Greenfield. Upon entering, each classmate was presented with a nametag featuring their senior picture.  After a social hour spent with greeting old friends, members and guests enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by Caroline and Danny Harris.

Following the meal, Class Vice-President Don Garner presided at a short business meeting during which he remembered deceased class members and recognized those who have served our country in the military.  The group decided to meet again in two years.

Classmates enjoyed reminiscing as they looked through four large albums compiled over the years by Judy Bell.  Bell collected a priceless multitude of things related to class members including memorabilia from elementary through high school, family pictures and updates, old and new newspaper articles, items from previous reunions, and much more.

Among those attending were Jane Palmer Bannister, Bruceton; Wesley Doran, Dresden; Jerry and Patsy Foust, Nashville, and their daughter, Janna von Kessel from Texas; Peggy Mitchell Minyard, Martin; Bobby and Betsy Barton Summar, Jackson; Billy and Elena Williams, Pinecrest, Florida; Eunice Johnson Winstead, Dresden; Clem and Peggy Wright, South Fulton.  From Greenfield were Judy Bell, Don and Merida Garner, Bettye Carlton Legons and Glenn Jenkins, Joyce Lee Lovell, Danny and Glenda Nanney, Billy and Gail Smithson.
