After a bit of a lackluster victory over Lake County last week, the No. 2-ranked Dresden Lions remained unbeaten with a 62-0 regional victory at Halls last Friday night.

The Lions churned up 544 yards in the victory.

"We came out and played very well and we executed. The defense stood up and took care of business," said Dresden coach Keith Hodge, whose Lions are now 4-0. "Special teams played well. Overall, just executed pretty well, but I was really glad to see our defense play well. I saw some improvement."

Dresden quarterback Cameron Schilcht had another great night. He was 10-12 passing for 234 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran in a 12-yard TD. Tristan Jett was one of Schilcht's main targets. He caught 10 passes for 168 yards and four TDs.

Nick Turnbow had four catches for 97 yards and a score. Reece Bell caught two passes for 46 yards and a touchdown. Bell also intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble. Will Kibbler had three catches and a score. Luke DiPietro had a touchdown. Paul Betzou booted eight-of-nine PATs. Cooper Allman tacked on an interception

"Everybody has those games where things seem off. Our kids play hard, but sometimes you have a game where things are just off and it felt like that against Lake County," Hodge said. "Last week it didn't feel like that at all."

The Lions will host Humboldt, who suffered a 17-6 loss at Greenfield.

"Humboldt has athletes and they do some unconventional things on defense, so that worries me a bit," Hodge said. "They have some players out there. If we don't give up big plays and take care of the ball, I think we'll be okay."
