Christmas has arrived in Martin, Tenn. and the City of Martin is planning a memorable celebration to kick off the holiday season.
This year’s Preview To Christmas Celebration is November 8-10 with special business hours for local retail. In Festival Park, the Martin Community Band will perform a Christmas Concert on Saturday, November 9th at 4:00pm.

The annual City of Martin Christmas Parade will be Monday, December 2, at 7:00pm. The Martin Kiwanis Club parade theme is Winter Wonderland. The parade will begin in front of the UT Martin football stadium and continue down University Street through Downtown Martin. Registration is online at: http://www.martinkiwanisclub.org
The 40th annual Santa’s Village is 25,000 square feet of Christmas family fun. This year Santa’s Village will be December 12-15. It features a petting farm, Popes Rides, 50+ arts & crafts vendors, an enchanted forest with holiday displays, and of course Santa Claus. There is no admission fee; however, donations are accepted or $5 worth of nonperishable food or children’s toys. This is a 4-day event located inside the Ned McWherter Ag Pavilion at 111 Moody Ave.
The Martin Public Library on Saturday, December 7th from 9am-2pm. Christmas movies, Makerspace crafts, and Lego club activities dates during Christmas Season to be announced.
Merry Martin Prize Drawings are back this year throughout the holiday season. Drawings will begin on December 2nd. Be sure to register while making your purchases throughout Martin.
