Anne Larue Reed Alexander 1933 – 2025

Anne Larue Reed Alexander, 91, passed away at NHC of Franklin, TN Friday morning February 21, 2025.

Anne was born April 30, 1933 to the late Elvern and Janie Kemp Reed. She grew up in the Palmersville, TN area and graduated from Palmersville High School.

In 1950 she married Walter Alexander who preceded her in death. To th_is union three children were born. Sheila Stella (Pat), Michael and Sandra Greganti (Randal Fly).

Anne enjoyed working in the school system of Downers Grove, IL and later as a sales clerk for Dillard's Department Store in Nashville. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughters Sheila Stella (Pat) of Vero Beach, FL, Sandra Greganti (Randal Fly) of Brentwood, TN, brother Kemp Reed (Mickey Granger) of Jackson, TN, sisters-in-law Katie Reed of Lena, IL and Donna Reed of Port St. Lucie, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter, son Michael, brothers William Bern and Wallace Reed.

Her wishes were to be cremated. There will be no services at this time. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery at a later date.
